You’ll find it interesting to watch the Gold family manage their pawnshop in Detroit’s dangerous 8 Mile neighborhood. The question is, does the shop really attract these weird people? If you ever felt the arguments provided on the show were too good to be true, you were correct: they were. All of the ‘fights’ were pre-staged, according to a couple of witnesses who attended the spectacle. To be honest, it’s difficult to believe Les, Seth, and Ashley will get into a fight with a customer that regularly.
