A Woman’s Small Act Of Kindness Leads To A Heartwarming Discovery
Homeless individuals abound in our neighborhoods, yet we’re sometimes too busy to assist them. A small deed of kindness can go a long way. Annie Wen, a single mother, noticed the man without a house standing in line at the grocery store, trying to pay. She started helping right away. She found out he’d hidden a great deal of his life from her when she saw him the following day. She had no idea how this realization would change them both.
Meet Annie Wen
Annie Wen, who was 37 years old at the time, was working as an assistant kindergarten teacher in the city of Denver, Colorado, where she lived. Her bad life experiences stopped her from realizing her ambition of becoming a social worker by completing her study at a university and then working in that profession. Throughout her childhood, she had a strong desire to work as a social worker.

She addressed him with a polite, “Excuse me, Sir,” greeting. “Are you getting hungry?” He stared at her in a bewildered manner. After giving the item a more thorough examination, she started reading it as soon as she finished looking it over. In point of fact, the item was about Corporal Jake Miller, a soldier who had served his country in both Iraq and Afghanistan and had been honored and awarded for his service in a great number of different ways.
